SAL DA COSTA
CHIEF
INSTRUCTOR
Sal Da Costa is the Owner and
Chief Instructor of Pro Martial Arts & Fitness Centre. He has studied
and trained in W.T.F., I.T.F., and Hap Kiddo styles. He also trained
with the 1988 Taekwondo Olympic team in Canada and Korea for two years.
Chief Instructor Sal Da Costa
is a very philosophical and humble man who teaches martial arts with
diligence and passion. With over 30 years of taekwondo experience and
over 18 years of teaching experience, Chief Instructor Sal Da Costa
offers a complete training system for any martial arts enthusiast.
AL REA MASTER
INSTRUCTOR
Master
Rea holds a 5th degree black belt in ITF Tae-Kwon-Do with over 20 years
experience. Master Rea began his training at Jong Park TKD in Brampton.
He is well respected by his peers and students a like. His experience comes from the countless Masters that he has had the
pleasure to train with or under over the past 20 years. It is not only
the Masters that he has learned from, but his students who are a big part
of why he enjoys TKD so much. The words Respect, Discipline and
Confidence are words Master Rea lives by everyday. His dedication to
TKD is something he holds dear to his heart, continuing to learn, teach
and enjoy every aspect of TKD.
TKD has always been a positive aspect of
his life as he not only had the opportunity to learn and teach something
he loves but to meet wonderful people from all over the world. The
different schools and tournaments and countless hours he has dedicated
to this sport has given him the opportunity to improve and fine tune his
skills to better help those he takes under his wing. Master Rea's
love for this sport pushes him to be the best he can be as well as
demand the best from his students. He loves TKD for both the mental and
physical exercise.
MARCELO FAIES
MMA INSTRUCTOR
Instructor Faies holds a black belt in Brazilian
Jiu Jitsu. He began his training at Jong Park TKD in Brampton
under the tutelage of Master Terry Riggs. With over 13 years
of experience in different forms of Martial Arts, he has had the
opportunity to train with decorated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
practitioners such as: Wagney Fabiano, Leo Santos, Andre Pederneiras,
Sylvio Behring among othrs.
Instructor Faies is a student of the sport in
constant pursuit to improve, both at a personal level as well as an
instructor. Martial Arts represents an integral part of his
personal and professional life, where the work demands and stress
are easily offset by an intense training session.
SEAN WALSH
WRESTLING
COACH
Sean Walsh wrestled for four years out of
Georgetown District High School. He competed at many high level
tournaments such as O.F.F.S.A, Provincial and Nationals. Sean won
Halton and G.H.A.C and placed second in Provincials. He traveled to
the U.S and learned how to wrestle Folk style. He also competed in
Florida in two different tournaments placing first in one, and
second in another. Recently, Sean has been coaching at Georgetown
High School where he led twelve students to O.F.F.S.A.
CHRIS
ROSS
ASSISTANT
INSTRUCTOR
Chris
Ross holds a 2nd Degree ITF black belt in Tae Kwon and has been training since
the age of 13. Chris is always pushing forward aspiring to reach and attain
the next level in martial arts. He furthers his education by taking
courses to better understand the function of the body and mind and
then applies them to the teachings of Tae Kwon Do as well as life
outside of the Do Jang.
Chris is currently working towards a third degree black belt. In
addition, he assists with teaching by helping students to understand
the mind set and fundamentals of martial arts while supporting in
the progression of their belt levels.
